JKBOSE Issues Fresh Notification for Private Candidates
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has extended the dates for submission of online permission-cum-examination forms for Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) Annual Private and Bi-Annual 2026 examinations.
The extension applies to candidates from both the Kashmir and Jammu divisions, including winter and summer zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Revised Dates Announced by JKBOSE
Normal Fee Submission Deadline Extended
According to the official notification, candidates can now submit their online examination forms with the normal prescribed fee up to May 13, 2026.
The previous last date for submission under the normal fee category was May 9, 2026.
Late Fee Submission Dates Revised
JKBOSE has also revised the schedule for submission of examination forms with late fee.
Students can now submit forms with applicable late fee up to May 20, 2026.
The earlier cutoff date for late fee submission was May 16, 2026.
Online Submission Process
Forms to Be Submitted Through Online Mode
The board has instructed all eligible candidates to complete the permission-cum-examination form submission process through online mode only.
Students are advised to carefully fill in their details and complete the process within the revised timeline.
Terms and Conditions Remain Unchanged
Previous Notification Still Applicable
JKBOSE clarified that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the earlier notification dated April 24, 2026, will remain unchanged.
Candidates are therefore advised to follow the existing guidelines issued by the board.

Avoid Last-Minute Submission
Students appearing in Class 10th and Class 12th private or bi-annual examinations have been advised not to wait until the final date for submission.
Officials say early submission may help candidates avoid technical issues or delays during the online process.
