Online Backlog Examination Forms Released
The University of Kashmir has issued an official notification regarding the availability of online examination forms for BG 4th Semester backlog candidates under Batch 2022-23 (NEP).
According to the notification, the online application forms will be available on the university website from May 13, 2026, to May 19, 2026.
Application Process to Be Conducted Online
Candidates have been instructed to complete the examination form submission process through the official university portals within the given schedule.
The university has clarified that the process will remain fully online, allowing eligible students to submit their forms without visiting offices physically.
Examination Fee Details Announced
As per the notification, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs. 250 per paper or subject.
In addition, candidates will also be required to pay an Examination Maintenance Fund (EMF) fee of Rs. 450 per semester.
ABC-ID and APAAR-ID Made Mandatory
The university has made it mandatory for candidates to enter a valid ABC-ID or APAAR-ID while filling out the examination form.
Officials warned that forms submitted with incorrect or incomplete details may not be processed further and could lead to issues related to transcripts or degree issuance.
Special Instructions for CBCS Candidates
The notification also states that CBCS candidates who have already joined NEP-2020 may submit forms for Course Type-2 and Type-3 in case of Single Major and Course Type-2 of each major subject of the 4th semester as deficiency courses.
Such candidates have been instructed to visit the Single Window, Examination Wing, for necessary procedures.
Online Payment Facility Available
Candidates are required to complete fee payment online using debit card, credit card, RuPay card, or UPI through the university payment system.
The university has advised students to retain a copy of the submitted examination form for future reference.
Instructions for Orphan and Disabled Candidates
The notification further states that orphan and disabled candidates must submit the examination form along with relevant documents through their concerned colleges within the stipulated timeline.
Colleges have also been directed to mail the list of eligible orphan or disabled candidates along with required details to the university before May 19, 2026.
Students Advised to Apply Before Deadline
University officials have urged eligible backlog candidates to complete the application process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Students are also encouraged to carefully verify all details before final submission.
